Wi-Fi is Now Available
The wi-fi is finally up and running at the library. You may access it inside the library or from the parking lot. You can even sit on the great front porch and surf the Internet! Please let us know if you have any problems.

Meet the Candidates for the Board of Education
There are two seats up for election on the Averill Park Central School District Board of Education. The PTA/PTOs of the various schools in the district held a “Meet the Candidates “ on Tuesday, May 12th, just prior to the Board of Education meeting. A video of this event is available for viewing on the Averill Park School District website. The budget vote and vote for Board of Education seats is Tuesday, May 19th at the Averill Park High School.
Successful Market Day!
The weather was great and so were the bargains at the Friends of Poestenkill Library Spring Market Day. This was one of the best Market Days ever! The lawn at the library was filled with shoppers from the opening whistle until the closing whistle. A total of $3,276.00 was raised during this great event. Thank you to everyone who donated items and/or time during this Market Day. Watch for the notice for the Fall Market Day to be held in September.
