Summer Reading @ the Library!

The Summer Reading Program will begin on July 5th. Please stop in at the library and pick up a reading record. Read 20 minutes per day for 6 days and you can earn a small prize. You do not need to come in weekly to get your prize – but we would like to see you!!! The reading program ends on August 15th.

There will not be a weekly school-age story hour this year.  Preschool story hour (children younger than 5) will continue to meet on Friday mornings.

July 4th Celebration

Please join the Friends of Poestenkill Library for a Fourth of July celebration on the Town Green at the library. This event will begin at 9:30am and feature music, singing, and a watermelon seed spitting contest! Bring a lawn chair or a blanket.

The library itself will be closed on Saturday, July 4th. There will be no preschool storyhour on Friday, July 3rd.
