The Poestenkill Library offers 3 computers for public use. In the Technology Room, there are three Dell PC's that have high-speed Internet access*.
The 3 computers in the Technology Room have:
- Full Internet access, according to library policy
- Word Processing software - using Microsoft Word
- Spreadsheet software - using Microsoft Excel
Patrons may print to an HP laser printer at a nominal cost of 10 cents per printed page.
Internet Policy and Parental Permission for Internet Use *
The Poestenkill Library Board of Trustees on June 25, 2001 (amended December 17, 2001) adopted an Internet Use Policy for the computers available for public use at Poestenkill Library. Patrons under the age of 18 must have the above form signed by a parent or guardian before they can utilize the computers at the library.

The Poestenkill Library Board of Trustees and Staff would like to gratefully acknowledge and thank Michael E. Labanowski of MELCO Enterprises. Michael is a Poestenkill resident who donates many hours of his professional and technical expertise to install the software and configure all of the computers, and the network at Poestenkill Library to insure smooth operation, access and protection.
