Summer Reading starts on July 6th! Lots of great activities scheduled!

EVERY HERO HAS A STORY! That is the theme of this summer’s Reading Program!
The Summer Reading program was kicked off on Thursday evening with the annual Tie-Dye Night! The weather was beautiful as more than 45 people, from preschoolers to senior citizens, tie-dyed shirts, socks, shorts, and little baby Onesies on the lawn at the library.

You can register on this site, over in the right column under “Summer Reading.” Just record the number of minutes you read and earn prizes.

Sara has scheduled great events for Thursday evenings. Please call the library at 283-3721, email to, or use Facebook to register for these programs.

Thursday – August 13 @ 6pm – What’s the Scoop? – Scotia-Glenville Traveling Museum
Thursday – August 20 @ 6pm – Credit Card Smarts & Managing Debt (Adult Program)
Thursday – August 27 @ 6pm – End of summer Craft Night

In addition to all the great programs, we have a wonderful selection of new books and DVDs for the whole family! Stop in, we are air-conditioned, and check out some great books for your summer reading!
