The 2016 Summer Reading Program will kick off on Thursday, July 7th, with our Annual Tie Dye Night. In each of the last two years we have had 60-80 people participate in this fun and messy event! Tie dyed shirts, socks, pillow cases, shorts, etc have been twisted, rubber banded, and squirted with lots of colors to create one-of-a- kind items. Last year, we tie dyed a tablecloth for the library! You bring the item you want to tie dye (white works best) and we supply the rest, including gloves! The event is from 6:00-7:00 pm. Please register at the library or through facebook. This event is fun for all ages!
The theme for this year’s reading program is “On Your Mark, Get Set, …READ! We are going back to basics this year. There will only be paper records for each level – kids, teens, and adult. You can stop at the library or print one from the links below. We will give raffle tickets for hours read and each level will have a grand prize to work toward.
