Digital Literacy for Adults online workshops offered through Upper Hudson Library System


Here is a great opportunity to learn more about the online tools we use almost everyday. These tools are key to a successful online presence as a business.
The Upper Hudson Library System (UHLS) serves the 29 public libraries in Albany & Rensselaer counties. They have received a grant through the New York State Division of Library Development, “Grow with Google.” This grant promotes digital literacy for adults, especially business owners as part of Work Force Development. The online classes listed below are free. There is a link to register for any or all of the classes. All communication regarding the classes will be through UHLS. We are promoting and offering the classes to our patrons.

02/25/2021 @ 7 pm Introduction to Microsoft Excel
Learn how to navigate the Excel interface, enter and format data, perform simple calculations, and create tables to sort data in this beginner’s class. On screen demonstrations will illustrate all the techniques and information presented. Then, use the provided practice files, exercises, and handouts to apply learning after class.
