The shed will open to accept all those books, CDs, and DVDs you cleared off your shelves! Items should be in boxes so they can be stacked in the shed. Boxes will need to be brought from the car directly to the shed. We are not able to help. This will be the last donation drop off until the Spring. We appreciate you thinking of us for your donations!

Yes, there are more puzzles for sale in Poestenkill! We are back for another sale of good condition used jigsaw puzzles, on the lawn of the Poestenkill Library, on Saturday October 3, from 9 to noon. We sold out of more than 300 puzzles on 9/12 but are lucky to have had many more donated since then. Prices are $5 for 1000-piece puzzles and $3 for fewer than 1000 pieces. Proceeds go to Friends of the Poestenkill Library to benefit the Library. Please be prepared to wait in line to approach the tables of puzzles if there is a crowd, to insure social distancing. Masks are required. Hand sanitizer will be provided. Thanks to all the customers and puzzle donors who have supported this annual sale. We look forward to finding more good homes for these delightful puzzles. For more information contact Marcia at email@example.com.

As the weather gets colder and it becomes dark sooner, the meetings of the Board of Trustees on the library lawn will end. In order to be socially distanced and allow room for the public to attend, the meetings will be moved into the Town Hall meeting room and will be held on the 4th Thursday of each month, rather than the 4th Monday. They will begin at 7pm. The first Thursday meeting will be on September 24.
As always, meetings are open to the public.
