Library news & events

Chair Raffle – Perfect for a holiday gift (or two) or a gift to yourself! A $10.00 ticket will offer you the chance for two ladderback chairs, beautifully painted by Sheryl Galinski. Both chairs are on display at the library. They have lovely winter scenes painted on the back slats. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on Saturday, December 16th.

Gingerbread Houses – Join us on Wednesday, December 6 at the library to make gingerbread houses using milk cartons, graham crackers, and lots of fun candy for decorations! This event is from 6-7:30. Please call or stop in to register in advance.

New library sign – Matt Minich (with his team) has completed his Eagle Scout project for the library and that means there is a beautiful new sign on the parking lot side of the building. Matt also repaired and repainted the sign on the front lawn, put in a new post to hold the library hours sign, and cleaned up the area for the trash by moving the fence over and putting down gravel to eliminate the mud. He added a few new plantings to finish it all up. Everything looks great! Thank you so very much Matt for sprucing up some very public areas of the library!
